Agentic AI requires robust data infrastructure and business context to function effectively, with many organizations facing challenges in accessing and managing their data. Only 45% of data is accessible to AI agents on average, and data laggard organizations have even less access, limiting the potential benefits of agentic AI. Data leaders are overcoming legacy constraints by improving data access and governance, enabling faster and more scalable agent performance. Within two years, 100% of respondents plan to use agentic AI, highlighting the urgency of addressing data system limitations to achieve its promised speed and efficiency.
