What I’ve been building: ATOM Report, post-training course, finishing my book, and ongoing research
The ATOM Report examines the open language model ecosystem, tracking model adoption and market share, with updates to the Relative Adoption Metric (RAM) and insights into the growth of GPT-OSS, Chinese mid-tier models, and U.S. open models. The RLHF Book is available for pre-order, offering a comprehensive resource for post-training language model learning, and a post-training course is being developed to support learning through lectures, codebases, and events. Recent research explores multi-turn dialogue and reinforcement learning, emphasizing the importance of multi-turn interactions and the potential of reinforcement learning in AI development.
