Nandan Nilekani will step down as a general partner at Fundamentum Partnership, remaining an anchor investor in its third fund, which will support eight to ten early-stage startups in consumer technology, fintech, and AI. He will continue to advise the firm and mentor portfolio company founders, while the fund aims to raise $200 million. The leadership change follows the departure of general partner Ashish Kumar, who launched F2A, a separate AI-focused fund. Fundamentum has made 17 investments in its first two funds, returning half of the capital to investors.
