
Anthropic has secured a $10 billion six-year cloud compute agreement with Volta, an AI cloud startup based in Norway, supplying 133 megawatt of compute capacity using Nvidia’s Vera Rubin systems. The deal includes Bitdeer, a crypto-mining company, to develop the data center, and reflects Anthropic’s expansion of compute capabilities as it competes with rivals.
