
Nscale, a British AI neocloud provider, acquired Anyscale, a software startup specializing in AI workload scaling, for $1.65 billion. Anyscale, founded by the same team that developed the open-source Project Ray framework, shifted focus to AI scaling services after the launch of GPT-3. The acquisition allows Nscale to expand its offerings in energy, data centers, orchestration, and workload management. Anyscale reported a 70% revenue increase in its latest quarter, and Nscale continues to operate under its own branding with its 200 employees joining the company.
