Substack’s new tool tells you who’s been writing their newsletters with AI
Substack has introduced a new AI detection feature that helps users identify if content is generated by AI, aiming to improve content quality by reducing "AI slop." The tool, integrated with Pangram, allows users to estimate the human and AI components of posts, comments, and replies. While it may initially harm Substack's business by exposing non-human-written content, it could long-term support the platform's credibility by encouraging trust in human-authored content. The feature is available in the app for posts, notes, and replies above 100 characters, with an optional AI author's note.
