Waze is introducing AI-powered features and customization updates, including conversational road updates and personalized navigation, to enhance user experience and competitiveness. The app now uses Gemini to provide route suggestions and destination searches, with these capabilities expanding globally on Android and iOS. Additionally, Waze is adding a "less chatty" mode to minimize voice prompts while still alerting users to hazards and turns, and introducing a new Motorcycle mode that accounts for two-wheeler-specific road conditions.
