Gradium, a Paris-based AI voice startup, raised $100 million in a seed round, backed by Nvidia, to expand its presence in the Bay Area and compete with major AI firms. The company aims to leverage its strategic location near leading AI ecosystems to develop ultra-low-latency audio models for AI voices. Gradium was spun out of Kyutai, a French AI lab, and has secured customers like Renault, despite competition from other voice AI startups.
