Helping K–12 educators build practical AI skills
On July 8, 2026, OpenAI Academy, in partnership with the Walton Family Foundation, will host a flagship AI Skills Jam for K–12 educators, focusing on practical AI integration in teaching and administration. Over 1,600 educators will attend in-person workshops across U.S. cities, with OpenAI mentors providing support for lesson planning and communication. The event aims to enhance AI literacy and responsible adoption in education, offering resources through OpenAI Academy and emphasizing long-term relationships with educators and partners.
