Hark previews its browser use agent for completing tasks
Hark Handoff, a startup that raised $700 million in Series A funding, offers an agent that navigates websites without official APIs, such as Target and OpenTable, using visual data and website structure to perform tasks like ordering food or booking tickets. The company claims its model can predict the next action, different from large language models, and plans to pre-train its model to improve efficiency and speed. Hark aims to release the platform by the end of the summer, offering a faster and cheaper alternative to competitors like GPT 5.5 and Opus 4.8.
