Fable's GPU kernel achieves an 18.71X speedup on the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell, marking a breakthrough in AI R&D automation and setting a new record for KernelBench-Mega. The system's ability to autonomously develop and improve kernels is critical for advancing AI research, as it enables more efficient and effective kernel design. AI systems are increasingly proficient in performing online freelance tasks, with the Remote Labor Index (RLI) showing a 16.1% success rate in July 2026, up from 2.5% in October 2025. This reflects AI's growing capability to handle economically valuable tasks like 3D design and data analysis
