Google launches a cheaper alternative to large AI security models like Mythos
Google has introduced Gemini 3.6 Flash and Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber, aiming to offer a more cost-efficient alternative to larger AI security systems. The new model, built on Gemini 3.5 Flash, excels in identifying vulnerabilities and code paths, outperforming competitors on the CyberGym benchmark. It also discovers additional security issues and demonstrates strong performance in coding and multimodal tasks.
