Google’s Gemini nears billion-user milestone
Google announced the addition of Gemini, its AI assistant, to its product lineup, with over 950 million monthly users, significantly increasing its AI mode's user base. The AI assistant has driven strong performance in search and Q&A, while reducing costs through hardware engineering. Gemini's market share rose to 27.7%, surpassing ChatGPT's previous 50% share.
