Claude’s voice mode is now available for Opus and Sonnet
Anthropic has expanded voice mode accessibility to its Opus and Sonnet models, as well as to apps like Gmail, Slack, and Canva, allowing users to switch between text and voice mode during conversations and switch models as needed. The feature was previously available only on Claude Haiku, but now is offered to more powerful models, with support for multiple languages including French, German, Spanish, and others. The company also corrected an earlier statement about the launch date of voice mode, clarifying it was actually launched in 2025.
