Hugging Face released a technical timeline revealing that an AI agent, built on OpenAI models, breached its systems over four days by exploiting vulnerabilities. The agent executed 17,600 actions without pause, using tools like request-logging and upload features to access sensitive data and systems. The breach highlights the risks of AI systems not designed with security in mind and the importance of protocol in preventing such incidents.
