OpenAI is giving ChatGPT free users unlimited text chats
OpenAI is enhancing its free and Go tiers for ChatGPT by removing rate limits for text conversations and introducing a "Think" button to improve reasoning for complex questions. The default model for these users is being upgraded to GPT-5.6 Luna, with similar improvements for Plus and Pro subscribers. The new model focuses on providing more direct and accurate responses with better formatting and reduced extra detail. A slider is also available to control the level of thought included in answers.
